How can I be perfect'
I'm so full of sin
Of God's glory I fall short (Rom. 3:23)
How can I be reconciled to Him' (Rom. 5:10)

God grants justification, a free gift
By His grace, propitiation (Rom. 3:24-25)
For all of our sins (1 John 2:2)

How can I be perfect'

He's perfected for all time
Those being sanctified in Him (Heb. 10:14)

He's removed from us our transgressions
The distance of the east from the west (Psalm 103:12)

Jesus bore the sins of many (Isaiah 53:12)
And He is our advocate (1 John 2:1)
Ever interceding (Heb. 7:25)

How can I be perfect'
I'm so full of sin
He's perfected for all time
Those being sanctified in Him

By one single offering (Heb. 10:14)
Jesus ransomed us
Not with an amount of money
Bought with precious blood (1 Pet. 1:18-19)
