If I could take Jesus with me


On my best ' behavior I'd be


I'd take him ' outside to play


I would spend time with Him every day





I'd keep Him in ' my brand new lunch box


Or in the drawer ' where I keep my socks


I'd never let, Him leave my sight

I'd talk to Him and He'd talk to me


Maybe he could get us food for free


I would take Him ' with me to school


Everyone would think I was real cool





I'd take him ' to the football game


And I would not ' be ashamed


I'd be bold ' if you like it or not


Because He is Jesus ' and I like Him a lot





But Jesus is with me
