I've got a story today of a man who gave it all
They said if he'd go he'd surely be killed for Christ
So as he walked on the road, he had this song in his heart

'CAUSE CHRIST YOU DIED FOR ME
AND FOR THEM

Though I sin I remembered when
You died on the cross, paid the price for the lost my friend
So I stand here today with their blades on my skin
Though they cut me from limb, I know that you died for them

Well his brother found out, he cried with a shout
'I'll go and burry him there! For as my brother died
So Christ he died, and yet He rose again!'

When they heard these words, they fell onto their knees
They said, 'Oh Lord, forgive us please for our sins.'
And to this day, they sing with one accord
